Paving Contractor in Fort Lauderdale, FL

West Palm Beach

Pavers, Concrete, and Asphalt Done by One Crew

Elite Pavement Contracting brings full paving service to Fort Lauderdale, FL and the surrounding Palm Beach County communities. We install brick and travertine pavers, pour concrete driveways and pool decks, and handle commercial asphalt from parking lots to striping. One insured crew covers the whole job, matched to the drainage, soil, and traffic your property actually deals with.

Built for the Conditions Around Here

Pavement in this part of Florida takes a beating. Intense UV bleaches asphalt, seasonal downpours wash out weak bases, and coastal humidity breeds mold on porous surfaces. We build for those realities from the ground up, compacting a proper base, grading every surface to drain, and sealing against sun and moisture. Local codes and permit requirements get handled up front, so your driveway, patio, or lot passes inspection and holds up season after season without the callbacks that cheaper work invites.

A Local Crew You Can Count On

We’re owner-operated and fully insured, and our crews work throughout the county, so we’re rarely far from your property. That means quicker scheduling, faster quotes, and someone accountable who actually shows up. Property managers and HOA boards keep calling us back because we do what we say, give honest repair-versus-replace advice, and stand behind the structural work long after the crew packs up. When something needs attention, you deal with the owner, not a call center three states away.

Fort Lauderdale, Fl — Broward County Metropolitan Pavement Authority and Las Olas Corridor Paver & Concrete Specialist

Serving Fort Lauderdale Pavers, Concrete, and Hardscape Projects

Fort Lauderdale's Broward County metropolitan position where Las Olas Boulevard meets the New River and the Intracoastal Waterway creates distinct residential and commercial pavement challenges that smaller contractors simply cannot navigate. The Venice of America's complex character — combining waterfront estate properties in Rio Vista and Harbour Inlet, dense urban condo developments downtown, historic neighborhoods in Sailboat Bend and Croissant Park, and the high-volume commercial corridors of US-1 and Andrews Avenue — creates installation demands shaped by waterfront soil conditions, city historic district requirements, HOA restrictions, and Broward County's commercial property standards.

The Problem

A restaurant owner near Fort Lauderdale's Las Olas Boulevard had three outdoor surface problems hitting at once: the paver entry walk from the parking area to the front door had settled unevenly and was creating a trip hazard, the rear concrete patio where they ran outdoor seating needed resurfacing before the season, and the parking area had pothole development near the main entrance. With peak season approaching and the restaurant running full service, they needed a contractor who could sequence all three scopes around the dinner service and finish in a tight window.

What We Did

We assessed all three scopes on the first visit and built a one-week execution plan around the restaurant's hours. The paver entry walk was lifted, the sand bed was re-leveled to eliminate the settlement, and pavers were re-laid with new polymeric sand joints and sealed — a reset rather than replacement because the pavers themselves were in good condition. The rear concrete patio received a decorative concrete overlay with a slate texture finish and a UV-resistant sealer — appropriate for Fort Lauderdale's outdoor dining environment where the surface takes sun exposure and food service wear simultaneously. The parking area entrance was patched with hot mix asphalt at the pothole locations. All three scopes were complete before the weekend service.

The Outcome

The restaurant opened Friday night with a settled, professional entry, a resurfaced outdoor patio, and a repaired parking area. The owner told us the outdoor patio has become the most requested seating area since the resurfacing — the decorative finish elevates the experience in a way plain concrete didn't.

What the Client Said

“Three problems, one week, no service interruptions. Elite sequenced the whole project around our dinner hours and had everything done before the weekend. The patio resurfacing was the surprise — the decorative finish turned it into the best seating in the house. That's the difference between practical and actually good.”
