Paving Contractor in Delray Beach, FL
West Palm Beach
Pavers, Concrete, and Asphalt Done by One Crew
Elite Pavement Contracting brings full paving service to Delray Beach, FL and the surrounding Palm Beach County communities. We install brick and travertine pavers, pour concrete driveways and pool decks, and handle commercial asphalt from parking lots to striping. One insured crew covers the whole job, matched to the drainage, soil, and traffic your property actually deals with.
Built for the Conditions Around Here
Pavement in this part of Florida takes a beating. Intense UV bleaches asphalt, seasonal downpours wash out weak bases, and coastal humidity breeds mold on porous surfaces. We build for those realities from the ground up, compacting a proper base, grading every surface to drain, and sealing against sun and moisture. Local codes and permit requirements get handled up front, so your driveway, patio, or lot passes inspection and holds up season after season without the callbacks that cheaper work invites.
A Local Crew You Can Count On
We’re owner-operated and fully insured, and our crews work throughout the county, so we’re rarely far from your property. That means quicker scheduling, faster quotes, and someone accountable who actually shows up. Property managers and HOA boards keep calling us back because we do what we say, give honest repair-versus-replace advice, and stand behind the structural work long after the crew packs up. When something needs attention, you deal with the owner, not a call center three states away.

The Problem
A homeowner in Delray Beach's coastal section east of Federal Highway called Elite Pavement Contracting about deteriorating walkways and a rear patio that had lost its surface integrity from years of salt air and moisture exposure. They'd had the patio pressure-washed multiple times and resealed once by another contractor, but the surface was still degrading. They wanted materials and installation that could actually hold up in a coastal Delray Beach environment.
What We Did
Coastal South Florida is a specific installation environment — salt air, high humidity, and proximity to saltwater accelerate the degradation of materials that perform fine a few miles inland. We specified porcelain pavers for the front walkways and entry — porcelain is the superior choice for coastal exposure because it's essentially non-porous, meaning salt and moisture can't penetrate the material and degrade it from within. For the rear patio, we used a large-format concrete paver in a charcoal finish sealed with a marine-grade sealer rated for coastal exposure. We replaced the mortar bed at the rear patio with a flexible setting material appropriate for the slight movement that coastal properties experience from ground saturation cycles. All joints were filled with polymeric sand rather than standard sand — it resists washout and inhibits weed and pest infiltration in Delray Beach's humid environment.
The Outcome
The homeowner's walkways and patio have held up through two South Florida rainy seasons without surface degradation, staining, or joint washout. The porcelain at the front entry still looks the same as the week it was installed. The rear patio sealer hasn't needed re-application.
What the Client Said
“I'd had other contractors seal the old surface and it kept degrading. Elite specified porcelain for the front walkways and the right sealer for the rear patio — materials actually rated for coastal exposure. Everything looks exactly the same as when they finished. That's what the right materials do.”
